Wake up Neo! Ready to follow the white rabbit? This is my personnal R&D journal of some projets I've started but not necessarily finished. I'm mostly self-taught on the subjects I deal with and would like to deal with. English is included. So, my approach will therefore be mainly methodical, following a recurring scheme: try, "crash", try-again. But it's an effective way of understanding a subject and later on, mastering new skills. I build this blog with the same idea of developing some literary skills, like English (yeah, I'm FR_fr) and summarizing topics. Including sharing reflections and experimentations on various subjects. I'm a digital and FPGA systems designer with 6 years of professionnals experiences. Currently, I'm working in a French "CNRS" subsidiary on infrared sensors for thermal imaging. I've an engineering degree in "industrial electronic and embedded system" and I've worked mostly in opto-electronic device conception. ---- Some of topics that you will find here: - Embedded platform developement - FPGA and programmable logic - Game Engines programming - Retro-programming and reverse engineering - Compilers and low-levels languages - Home-FabLab feedback and tips - Theorical concept PoV and PoC ---- You can also find me on Discord(#jackcartersmith), [StackOverflow][link_so] and [GameDev.SE][link_gdse]: As you can see, I'm "back-backend" developer and therefore, I'm lazzy with all of the "frontend"... So thanks to G.Lampert for it's blog sources, I share some of it's interest in "Game Dev" and reverse engineering. Don't hesitate to take a pic' from it's own blog!
